Acts 5:20

“Go, stand in the temple courts,”

he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”

New Life Believers Fellowship Australia was born from a simple yet powerful cry in the hearts of believers who longed to see lives truly transformed by Jesus Christ. What began in prayer and obedience would grow into a testimony of faith, perseverance, and God’s unwavering faithfulness.

In June 2009, the first-ever worship service of New Life Believers Fellowship, Inc. was held at the Touch Centre, attended by five faithful families. There were no grand resources or recognition — only surrendered hearts, deep dependence on the Holy Spirit, and a burning desire to see people experience new life in Christ.

The following Sunday, the church moved to a small hall at Polish Hall in Ardeer. Though modest in size, it became a sacred space where faith was nurtured, prayers were lifted, and a spiritual family began to form. As the congregation steadily grew, the small hall could no longer accommodate the increasing number of attendees. After two months, the church transitioned to the main hall of Polish Hall, which would serve as NLBF’s temporary home for the next eight years. In that space, lives were restored, disciples were raised, and the presence of God was experienced deeply and personally.

The vision was clear from the beginning: to reach the lost, strengthen believers, and build a Christ-centred community where people were not only welcomed but truly known, loved, and discipled.

Faith was not merely preached — it was lived daily through prayer, fellowship, and steadfast commitment to the Word of God.

Even as the church was being established in Australia, God was expanding its mission beyond borders. In 2010, NLBF began missions in the Philippines. By July 2011, New Life Caba in La Union was planted. In 2012, two more NLBF churches were established. Year after year, God’s faithfulness became evident as new churches were planted across the Philippines — a powerful reminder that what begins in obedience can grow into a global mission.

In January 2015, God placed a new dream in the hearts of the church — to have a permanent house of worship. Through persistent prayer, sacrificial giving, and unwavering faith, the Lord answered. In October 2017, NLBF was blessed with the New Life Centre on Telley Street in Ravenhall — a milestone that marked not only physical growth, but spiritual breakthrough.

Today, New Life Believers Fellowship stands as more than a church building. It is a family, a mission, and a living testimony of God’s grace. Through every season — from five families in a small hall to a thriving, multi-location ministry — one truth remains unchanged: a deep love for Jesus, a passion for souls, and a commitment to raising disciples for God’s glory.

What began in prayer continues in faith, power, and transformation.

And the rest is His story.
